Seventh-day Adventists are Christians who believe that God meets people in everyday life and through the Bible. They accept the Scriptures as the ultimate authority for faith and practice, turning to them to understand God’s plan for life on earth and beyond. The Bible is seen as the foundation of everything they believe, offering guidance, meaning, and direction.
Because the teachings of the Bible are broad and rich, Seventh-day Adventists have summarized their understanding in 28 Fundamental Beliefs. These beliefs express what the Church understands the Bible to teach about God, humanity, salvation, and the future. Rather than being a rigid creed, they are a shared expression of faith, firmly rooted in Scripture and open to ongoing study and deeper understanding.
